What Iā€™m doing now

(This is a now page, and if you have your own site, you should make one, too.)

Teaching

  1. Once a month, I lead a Nature Journaling workshop. These are mostly for ages 12 and up, but some are all ages meet-ups. Check out my events page for upcoming opportunities.
  2. I manage the Hawaii Nature Journal Club website, created to promote nature journaling and connect nature journalers across the aloha state. We are committed to sharing and promoting nature connection and education that reflects the diversity and love of our islands.
  3. I am teaching an after school nature journaling program called “Nature Explorers” at Hongwanji Mission School. I have been documenting this experience and am figuring out the best way to share it with others interested in teaching nature journaling after school.

Creative work

  1. I published my poetry book and it’s now available for sale!
  2. I continue to nature journal as much as possible, and I’m working on scanning and organizing my nature journal pages to be able to better share my experiences on my website. For now, the best way to stay up-to-date with my adventures is through Instagram.
  3. I am gradually selling off my watercolors and acrylic paintings to make room for new things.
