Malama Maunalua Seaweed Huki

USDA AgDiscovery Program is hosting an educational huki and I’d love to see you there! I’ll be bringing my nature journaling supplies to note and observe the plants and animals we encounter that day.
Where: Maunalua Bay
Why: Invasive limu outcompete native limu species altering the balance of the nearshore ecosystem. By volunteering to help remove invasive limu, you are helping restore this ecosystem to its natural and native state
